The GRCS 9000
is Greco Systems newest generation of rugged computer systems. Greco Systems has drawn
upon many years of experience in building environmentally hardened computer products to
develop this unique system. Designed to meet MIL-STD 810, the GRCS 9000 has become the
processor of choice for military and aerospace environments worldwide.
BUILT TOUGH
The GRCS 9000's all aluminum construction withstands severe
environmental conditions including heat, shock, and vibration. In addition, the front
panel and keyboard case are machined from solid aluminum. The GRCS 9000 is available with
a choice of shock mounted monochrome LCD, passive color LCD, active color LCD, or EL
display. A touch screen is also available.
STRATEGICALLY DESIGNED
The GRCS 9000 is engineered to allow for easy adjustments
and necessary accessibility. Captive fasteners are used in all external panels. GRCS 9000
comes equipped with drives mounted in aluminum carrier brackets allowing for simple
replacement. Drive bays are shock mounted with three drive bays accessible through the
front panel door and one additional internal drive bay. PC cards are locked into the
chassis with patented retainers. Standard function connectors and option card connectors
are mounted on separate panels. Transition cables between internal PC cards and the rear
panel allows use of any external I/O connector. Rear panels are hinged to facilitate PC
card cables. The power supply has a separate exhaust so that heat will not circulate over
other components.
